Zawada – Blog Will Eat Itself

January 20th, 2009 § 0

Click me!

I think blogging about blogs is such a noughties phemonenon and I have mixed feelings about it.  But I definitely CAN’T NOT SHARE Jonathan’s new site with you all.  It’s a very viewer friendly no nonsense blog about his work which kind of makes my blog redundant.  Oh well.

Be warned, keep your credit card away.  On his blog and on Tru$t Fun!!! you can buy Petit Mal! – fashion’s first comic, friendly semi precious pet rocks on wonderfully long gold chains, and fractally embroidered silk scarves.  Oh, you already have a fractal silk scarf?

Gen shoots for Shibui

January 20th, 2009 § 0

If only there was a  Shibui in Sydney.  My last salon experience at a well known city salon left my fringe looking more Terri Irwin than Emma Balfour.  Gen just shot their latest PR shots.  I think the quality of their PR material and site says so much about their standards in general.  The shots are so Gen.  So vibrant and young and free.

It’s a Wolkenstein Family Thing

January 20th, 2009 § 0

As if it isn’t bad enough that we now have to drive a family car rather than our Vespas and Triumph Thruxtons, Julian is now shooting family cars as well as being behind the wheel.  Thankfully the art director was as gorgeous and talented as Beverly D’Angelo, so the concepts were really clever and the shots look amazing.  Have a look at the billboard next time you’re on the M5 in your Kluger with two screaming kids in the back.  Or just scroll down.  The last one was shot in our backyard, the Southern Highlands.

Julian finally has files of the Lynx Caveman print he shot in London in 07.  The TVC is really cute.  Death to CGI, long live the model make.

Read the interview here

Australia’s super cool blog Design Files has interviewed Beci. She’s always such an inspiration to read about. I personally don’t know how she does it.

And here is a sneak preview of her new piece for the Toff. Makes me wanna smother every wall of my house in Deco gorgeousness.
