I won’t crap on about it here. There’s enough crap in the article (Ash- crap spoken by me, not you.)

Here is a really sweet single for Emporio Magazine which Myer puts out. Very cute silhouette and those look like the contents of my brain!

Gen shot this film of Jethro Cave a couple of months back and she has been saving it for The Ones 2 Watch. TO2W usually results in a major stats spike so it was worth keeping it a secret and letting them post it first.
Click here to watch the film. Ah youth.
And here are some stills.

It’s no secret that Lifelounge is somewhat obsessed with good typography and what better way for them to celebrate this obsession than to collaborate with some of the most creative type geeks in the world.
Jonathan is one of the 12 artists and designers from around the globe to join Lifelounge in a typographic project Some Type Of Wonderful where each artist has been asked to respond typographically to a design brief related to a designated month of the year. Each of the unique designs will be offered through lifelounge.com as signed, limited edition A1 Giclee prints.
So to catch Jonathan and these amazing designers, come along to the opening night of Some type of wonderful down at China Heights gallery, 257 Crown street on 23rd October.

Can we just let a little secret out of the bag? We hate Ministry of Sound! Just thinking of that music makes us feel like embarking on a detox. Yuck! But you really can’t hang shit on their taste in designers. They seem to source great designers the world over and their artwork has become like a visual currency in a similar way to Hed Kandi’s relationship with Vault 49. Here is Jonathan’s latest work with MOS.

Jonathan has redesigned and built Tina Kalivas’ website. We often forget what a talent he is in this area. He doesn’t do a massive amount of website work any more but saves himself for special clients. And then pulls out the big guns. You really should click here and see it for yourself as our blog doesn’t do it justice. It does stuff. Not in a flying toaster kind of way. Its quite sublime and gentle, but at the same time, very cool.

We think Chris saves all his snippets to send to us in one day. So the news blog is looking rather Chris-heavy. Monster Children is out so we think he had some down time and bombarded us because he could. Here is an interview he said we should watch if we were bored. We didn’t have time, but you can watch it if you want to see a screen filled with facial hair.
The interview was related to the Canon EOS comp publicity.

We have something to be extremely excited about at the agency. We are representing a new young talent who we believe to have the most potential of any photographer since a baby Julian teamed up with upstart Leo Premutico (and look what happened to them!) We’re working with Chris Mollison as an investment into his and our future. The projects we have planned together are of a higher level of sophistication than we have seen in a very long time, and we’re so keen to start working together.
Chris has only been shooting for two years. He was the star of his RMIT class, and has already shot for Sony Ericcson, Target, Olay, and Mercedes Benz, after having assisted Sydney’s best, including Andreas Smetana, Sean Izzard, Troyt Coburn, and Ian Butterworth.

It’s gone up on pedestrian.tv so we guess we can blog it now. In case you have been living in a cave or ‘through night and day, in and out of weeks and almost over a year to where the wild things’ aren’t (bit of WTWTA humour from someone who has read that book 100+ times to little awed ones) the movie comes out this week. Chris was one a a few on set photographers when Spike Jonze was out here shooting. The shots are pretty incredible. If you’re one of our favourite agencies a couple of them will be gracing your foyer soon. Here is one of the shots of Spike, and we have also included the Monster Children cover, which we believe is out now. It’s in the Wolkenstein house so assuming it’s available by now in newsagents also. Geoff McFetridge did the typography which was a brilliant fit in our humble opinions.
