The swimming cap is made from cute Kewpie dolls.
Shot on location at Bondi Icebergs, the team cast local talent, Rima, who swims everyday and Ernie, who swims a little less, but owns a red Ferrari.

As they were shooting they found a swim group from Newcastle, so they convinced them to be in the shot, holding Rima.

Cuteness.

Julian shot this little experiement to see if it’s really true that symmetry is more beautiful than asymmetry in the human face. What do you think?

Chris recently shot this campaign for Coke. Looks cool, doesn’t it?

Chris shot this mammoth job alongside a TVC for BT.  All the hard work was thankfully done by the TV crew with the sets being built in one of Fox’s largest sound stages.  Yes, it was as big as it looked!

As a lot of you know, I have reduced my roster this year.  It’s leaner, stronger and more in line with my values as a vicarious creative than ever before.  I’m now able to do some things that I have wanted to for a while including expanding my agency offering by bringing contemporary art photography into the commercial space.

In the next few weeks I am going to be introducing Matthew Sleeth to a few of you in Sydney.  In my opinion Matthew is Australia’s answer to Richard Prince, and if by now you don’t know what I am talking about then you really need to meet him.  He gives an unpretentious insight into the world of art and he is looking forward to expanding his practice by learning about the strange world of advertising photography.  It’s very exciting for me to have Matthew on loan from the art world and I am proud to be able to offer him to all the brilliant creative minds we’ve worked with so far.

The ’sunscreen’ execution of these NEW ads just won a ‘could be a Caxton’ award!  Keep your eyes peeled as the year progresses for more topical executions.  When scandal breaks, a new NEW execution will be hot on its heels.  Hats off Chris Searl and Pete from Southpaw.

Julian’s Lynx ‘Snow’ campaign with BBH London has been selected to be featured in the 2010 Creative Review Annual. Anyone who knows their butt from their boob will know that this is massive news.  We’re very proud of him.

Julian was recently flown with his producer, Adam, to Queensland to shoot one of Australia’s only elephant actors.  He lives right near Australia Zoo.  Here are the shots.  It was Julian’s dream to photograph an elephant so big thanks to Droga 5 for making it happen.

You will have seen this everywhere if you live in Sydney.  In fact I went past a billboard outside central the other day which had Chris’s Bonds work on one panel and Julian’s Nova piece on the other.  We loved this concept from Three Drunk Monkeys when we saw it and Julian (and of course Kathy McKinnon) did such a great job of realising the vision.  Thanks of course as well to Adam, the quietest, most easy going producer we have ever worked with.
